2017年1月27日、ハートランド・フェリーの「カランセ奥尻」(3,650gt)が、内海造船瀬戸田工場で進水した。2017年5月1日に、奥尻島航路(江差―奥尻―せたな)就航する。

「カランセ」は「オクシリエビネ」の学名で、ギリシャ語の「美しい花」に由来する。

Ferry operator Blue Line doesn't have a ship, temporarily

Blue Line Ferries announced that they completed the selling of their ferry REGINA DELLA PACE with which they maintained the route Split-Ancona-Split.

The ferry has been sold to Ventouris and has been renamed RIGEL III.

GNV adding Barcelona – Nador to their network

GNV have announced that starting in June, they will operate a service from Barcelona to Nador in Morocco. The first sailing, according to their booking site, is scheduled to sail on June 8 from Barcelona, at 16:00. Subsequent sailings from Barcelona will be every six days.
